Common questions
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Annual plans get a pro-rata refund on the unused months.
- Can I export my data if I leave?
- Always. You own your data. One click exports every transaction, every receipt image, every invoice and the full chart of accounts as CSV + a zipped folder of attachments. No hostage-taking.
- Is BahiKhata HMRC compliant?
- Books, VAT workings and the year-end pack follow HMRC formatting. Direct MTD-VAT submission is in active development; until it lands, your bookkeeper or accountant submits the auto-drafted return.
- Who actually builds this?
- Sifotech UK Ltd, an independent UK company. We use BahiKhata to run our own businesses, which is why it's opinionated about things like takeaway VAT and director loans.
- Will I get a VAT receipt for the subscription?
- Yes. Every invoice we issue is a proper UK VAT invoice with our VAT number, downloadable from your billing page so your accountant can claim it back.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- All major UK debit and credit cards via Stripe, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Direct Debit (BACS) is on the roadmap for Director Plus customers.
